The starting card

What every driver’s card is built from.

  • Pickup$1.00Approach miles at operating cost, and curb time at minimum wage.
  • Per mile72.5¢The IRS standard mileage rate for 2026 (irs.gov).
  • Per minute25¢The Missouri minimum wage, $15.00 an hour, divided by 60.
  • Shortest ride$4.00The minimum fare. The receipt prints “short trip, minimum applied”.

Drivers set their own cards from this base. These are its sources, updated when the government updates them.

What riders pay on top of the fare

  • Booking fee10% to 20% of the fareSliding: small rides pay the low end. Capped at $15.00 a ride.
  • Ride insuranceBy the milePriced on the miles of the ride, its own line on every receipt. Reviewed quarterly.
  • TaxAt costState and local, as applicable.
  • Card processingAt costPrinted and passed through.
  • Airport fees and tollsAt costOnly when they occur.

What drivers pay
